Could we offer a calendar view to get weekly or monthly “hot repositories”, with the capability to filter by language?

A single application page in JavaScript would be nice for that, with GitHub API called by client code.

Could be presented in January as "one year of open source :: 2020 retrospective" with added insights?

Insights could be a JSON document when we want to say something for a special date / language combo.
