Server was rebooted without .35 IP.

A lot of things are missing and was manually started.

We'll need a new reboot to validate every service starts correctly without human intervention.

Rebooted again for FreeBSD 15.1 upgrade.

Issues I had:

  • Salt is broken, T2332
  • dhclient is configured with interface description ("public") instead of device, T2331
  • 2001:bc8:2e84:700:0:dead:c0de:b07 isn't there
  • gre0 still exists (to router-001, should be removed)
  • gre1 uses .36 instead of .35

Workarounds:

  • Reinstall Salt through ports system, solving dependencies conflicts between Python 3.11 and 3.12 (executables like normalizer or idna can't be in both versions directly)
  • Edit both /etc/rc.conf.d/dhclient6 and /usr/local/etc/dhclient6.conf
  • ifconfig igb0 inet6 add 2001:bc8:2e84:700:0:dead:c0de:b07
