Event Timeline

WARNING: Your assistance is required this Wednesday afternoon to solve the issue. If you can't be present this Wednesday to move the server, please let manual instructions or point to documentation about how to change the port and test all is fine and give consent we (@Sandlayth and me) can log in as root to Uncle Slovius to do this. If no consent has been given and server still listens to this port, we won't have other choice than temporarily killed the server.

Previous notice was given 2016-02-24 to change the port.

2016-02-24 14:23 <+Dereckson> et change le port, 8080 c'est le port par défaut de toutes les applis web qu'on lance avant des les configurer
2016-02-24 15:25 <+Dereckson> d'où le 8080
2016-02-24 15:25 <+Dereckson> 8080: reserved - allowed for any user to spawn very short term temporary web servers (< 30 minutes)

I'd suggest as the application relies to heavy networking we switch to a Docker container on Dwellers.

That will be mandatory too in June, as we've plan to upgrade servers to better hardware, but that's not as urgent as free the 8080 port.

dereckson lowered the priority of this task from Unbreak Now! to Normal.Jun 15 2016, 14:51

Decreasing priority as 8080 has been freed by @amj.

I'll let you mark the task resolved, as I don't know if you still need to do stuff in the config or you're done.
