First idea were to use eglide.nasqueron.org.
But this is really problematic:
- any user using our shell service would somewhat represent Nasqueron reputation with their host, but not all of them share Nasqueron values
- we currently are rather good in security as far as Ysul and Dwellers are concerned: we know what is running, we monitor security issues and upgrade fairly recently software. What our shell users will install on Eglise aren't as monitored as the remaining
- *.nasqueron.org is a currently trustable and trusted domain, and for example Wikimedia cluster can communicate with it to get pictures, something used by @rama and @dereckson. The security level would be decreased at a level not acceptable for Wikimedia projects to use, and so we would have to maintain a subset of trusted domain.
- there are a lot of users on Eglise, so a lot of opportunities to cookies hijack
So it would be preferable, as far as security and reputation are concerned, to use another domain name.
For example, eglide.org is available.
