Update from June 2023 - Libera Chat registration done.

So, Dorian updated configuration for eggdrop, and I handled this week the Darkbot one.

Libera accepts connections in IPv4 and with SASL we can connect from Scaleway network.

Works like a charm.

Credentials. Secrets provisioned to Eglide Vault under kv/service/odderon/nickserv.

SASL capability has been added to darkbot, I'm going to deploy Vault to Eglide, so we can store credentials there.

Just a note this task was mainly for ARM CPU, and we now use amd64 architecture.

Next step is to actually deploy the SASL credential from secrets/nasqueron/odderon/nickserv

Back to version 6f6, I can't repro the issue, it connects correctly:

I can repro while connecting to Libera through znc.

Blocked by T1870 to test correctly this.

Secrets stored in Vault

Simple SASL implementation does NOT require a library.

Note for lyrics, we're correctly writing in UTF-8 to the database, so this bug isn't related.

An issue with the code above is [info errorstack] gives the previous error call stack. It will update when we're done with the error.

To create the payload, we can use a dictionary: [dict create code "$::errorCode" info "$::errorInfo" stack [info errorstack]].

Libera requires NickServ SASL authentication for Ysul IP range. Going to generate them in Vault under apps/viperserv/libera/nickserv/<bot name>.
